Mapping out Morocco

I travelled to Morocco last October with Nina. To help gather funds for this big trip, Nina came up with a travel registry, asking friends and family to pledge for small things like a cup of mint tea or a bowl of harira, or big-ticket items like accommodation or entrance fees to attractions. In exchange, she would give them souvenirs, take photo requests, among other things.聽(Check out the travel registry here. It doesn’t function anymore, but it’s been kept as reference for others who may want to try the idea.)

I designed this map to accompany the travel registry. It plots our itinerary around Morocco: Casablanca – Meknes – Chefchaouen – Fes – Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech – Casablanca.

The map was then turned into recipe cards given away for Christmas.
